After 40 years in the investment business, David joined Transform in 2000. He remained a Trustee until 2011, serving as Chairman from 2004 to 2007 and as Vice Chairman for seven years.

A former High Sheriff of Surrey (2005-6), David was made an Officer of the British Empire for services to charities in 2014. David has been a Patron of Transform since 2014.
