Greg has a commercial background, joining the University of Surrey in 2002 from the private sector where he worked in banking, electricity, telecommunications and satellite industries in South Africa, UK and mainland Europe.

Greg is currently the University’s Senior Vice-President, Advancement and Partnerships. In this role he is responsible for engagement with civil and civic society, including Alumni and Strategic Partners so as to advance the University’s growth through collaboration. The role includes sponsorship of large-scale strategic projects.
